Integrated Matching Service

FROM FOIL TO EDGE TO BOARD.
ONE COLOR. ONE SYSTEM.

We don't just supply materials separately -- we match surface foil, edge banding, and substrate panels as one synchronized color system. ΔE ≤ 1.0 verified under D65 lighting. One supplier, one container, one invoice. And because every color comes from one library, that same match carries onto our wall panels too -- from a cabinet edge to a feature wall.

Egger, Kronospan and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. YipDeco is an independent manufacturer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these brands; brand codes are referenced for color identification only, with the final match confirmed by physical sample.

The Industry Problem

THREE SUPPLIERS.
THREE STANDARDS.
VISIBLE DEVIATION.

Most furniture manufacturers source edge banding from Supplier A, surface foil from Supplier B, and panels from Supplier C. Each supplier uses a different color standard, a different batch process, and a different measurement method. The result: visible color deviation on the finished cabinet. The edge doesn't match the surface. The surface doesn't match the panel. Rework, waste, and customer complaints follow.

Our Solution

ONE LIBRARY.
ONE VERIFICATION.
ZERO DEVIATION.

YipDeco coordinates all three materials from one synchronized color library. Edge banding, surface foil, and laminated panels are matched at ΔE ≤ 1.0 under D65 standard lighting -- in the same production window, verified by spectrophotometer before shipment. One point of contact. One quality standard. Zero deviation.

How It Works

FOUR STEPS TO PERFECT MATCH

1

Tell Us Your Requirement

Share your target color (panel brand decor code, Pantone, RAL, or physical sample), substrate type (MDF, plywood, chipboard), panel size, and required certifications.

2

We Match All Three

Our lab develops the surface foil, edge banding, and panel lamination simultaneously from the same color reference. Spectrophotometer verification under D65: ΔE ≤ 1.0 between all components.

3

Process Validation

We provide lamination parameters for your specific equipment: adhesive type (PUR vs EVA), roller pressure, temperature settings, and feed speed. 15 years of machinery experience means we've already tested what you're about to run.

4

One Container, One Invoice

Surface foil + edge banding + laminated panels ship together from Foshan. One color standard across all materials. One shipping document. One point of contact.

Substrate Panels

MDF, plywood, chipboard, OSB. Pre-laminated with our surface foil. Sizes 1220×2440 / 1220×2745mm. CARB P2, E0/E1, FSC available.

Panel matching is a sourcing service -- we coordinate with verified substrate manufacturers. Panels are not stocked independently.

One Color, Two Processes

A Wrapped Wall and a Flat Cabinet
Finish in the Same Color.

A wall and a cabinet are built by two different processes — so matching their color takes more than picking the same swatch. We engineer both films from one color series, so the two processes read as one color.

Wall — Wrapping

Profile Wrapping Film

For wall panels, fluted profiles and mouldings, the film is softened and wrapped around every curve and edge. It is a thin, flexible wrapping foil, engineered to fold cleanly without cracking or color shift.

  • Thin, soft and flexible for wrapping
  • Wraps fluted, mouldings and curved surfaces

Cabinet — Flat Lamination

Flat Lamination Film

For cabinet faces and flat panels, the film is pressed flat onto the board. It is a slightly thicker, more rigid foil for a hard, durable flat surface — drawn from the same color series as the wrapping film.

  • Slightly thicker and harder for flat pressing
  • Same color series as the wrapping foil

See the Difference

Before & After.

Wrapped wall and flat cabinet from two suppliers showing visible color deviation Before

Two suppliers, two films. The wrapped wall and the flat cabinet drift in tone — a visible mismatch where the two surfaces meet.

Wrapped wall and flat cabinet from one YipDeco color series showing a seamless color match After

One color series, matched films. Wrapped wall and flat cabinet read as one continuous color — no drift, no mismatch.

Why We're Different

WE DON'T JUST SUPPLY MATERIALS.
WE UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS.

Our founder spent 15 years installing and calibrating flat lamination and edge banding machines. This process knowledge is built into every panel matching recommendation.

Adhesive selection process

Adhesive Selection

PUR vs EVA -- we recommend the right adhesive for your substrate, foil type, and production environment. PUR for moisture-critical applications (kitchen, bath). EVA for standard furniture. We specify gram weight, open time, and activation temperature.

Lamination parameters calibration

Lamination Parameters

Roller pressure, nip gap, line speed, and temperature settings -- calibrated to your specific equipment model. We've commissioned hundreds of lamination lines. We know what settings produce clean bonds versus bubble defects.

Surface tension and bonding testing

Surface Tension & Bonding

Foil-to-substrate adhesion depends on surface energy matching. We test surface tension (dyne level) on every substrate batch to ensure lamination bond strength meets production requirements. No delamination. No bubbles. No lifting.

Edge banding compatibility testing

Edge Banding Compatibility

The edge banding must be formulated to match the foil color AND perform on your edge banding machine. We provide recommended pot temperature, feed speed, blade angle, and glue application rate for every material we supply.

Profile Wrapping -- For Wall Panels

The Wrapping Process, Step by Step

Wrapping adhesive -- PUR hot-melt glue for profile wrapping

Wrapping Adhesive

PUR hot-melt tuned for profile wrapping -- correct open time and activation temperature, so the film bonds tight around fluted profiles and mouldings without lifting at the edges.

Profile wrapping machine running a fluted panel

Wrapping Machine

Profile wrapping lines set up for your profile shape -- feed speed, pre-heating and pressure-roller sequence calibrated so the film follows every contour cleanly.

On-machine wrapping calibration and debugging

Calibration & Debugging

On-machine debugging: softening temperature, roller pressure and film tension adjusted per profile, so the wrap is seamless and the color stays true from film to finished wall.
